Yesterday I had an enjoyable time making portraits of Marit, Peter and their baby daughter Lola. On the verge of walking and talking, Lola sure is full of personality!

Nicole & Ryan
In late October, I photographed Nicole and Ryan’s wedding ceremony and celebration at the Fullerton Inn in Chester, Vt. The relaxed affair even had a visit from the town’s Halloween parade! Follow this link to see more photos on my Facebook page.
Double Exposure
Twin brothers Dylan and Hunter asked me to come by last weekend to photograph their senior portraits. With the threat of rain, we had to work quickly but managed to do family portraits and included Dylan’s girlfriend as well!
Heidi & Kyle
Heidi and Kyle’s mid-October wedding ranged from a sweet and solemn ceremony at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hanover, N.H., to a rip-roaring celebration at Dowd’s Country Inn in Lyme, N.H. I enjoyed being a part of their wonderful day! Follow this link to see more photos on my Facebook page.
Shock to the System
The other day I travelled to southern Vermont to photograph one-year-old Hamilton and his mother Lauren. They had made a quick trip from Nashville to see the fall colors in Marlboro, Vt., but an overnight cold snap was a shock to Hamilton’s system. After a warm-up in the car, he was ready for his close up!
Bill’s Barnyard
“I was shown on Vermont Public Television hugging Hillary” is the beginning of a story my neighbor Bill in Tunbridge, Vt., likes to tell. I bit. Was she campaigning locally? Did he travel to see her? No, Hillary is one of two pet goats Bill wanted to feature in his new holiday card (special thanks to the many animal wranglers who helped, including Bill’s daughter Sarah)!
Nenia & Joe
Nenia and Joe’s wedding celebration last weekend at the Enfield Shaker Museum was not only beautiful, but also had a lot of personal touches. Amazing considering they decided to get married three months ago! Follow this link to see more on my Facebook page.
Anticipation
I’ve recently been covering several events for the Valley News’ sports department. Photographing sports is a challenge I enjoy because it’s unpredictable and requires anticipation of what’s coming next. Here’s a few of my recent favorites:
From top: Amy Mitchell-Hartson, of Washington, N.H., gives her husband Robert a kiss as she starts her planned 46-mile run on the Northern Rail Trail, starting at the trail head in Lebanon, N.H. She was raising money for the Catch a Lift Fund in honor of her brother, who serves in the Army; Dartmouth defensive back Danny McManus (34) recovers Sacred Heart quarterback Shane Scambray’s fumble in the second quarter in the Big Green’s home opener in Hanover, N.H.; Sharon’s Carter Blanchard pulls up short while South Royalton goalkeeper Jayson Perron makes a first half save in South Royalton, Vt.; Referee Denis Reisch asks the Hanover, right, and Plymouth girls soccer teams to be sure they all have shin and mouthguards to play the game in Hanover, N.H.; The Hanover volleyball team gathers in the hallway to huddle and chant before warm-ups against Fall Mountain in Hanover, N.H.

Happy Anniversary
A brisk yet beautiful Sunday morning was perfect for a portrait session with Corrine and Gary. Their daughter booked me as a present for their 43rd wedding anniversary!
Nenia & Joe
I met with Nenia and Joe over the weekend to do engagement portraits at the beautiful Enfield Shaker Museum. The rain held off while we did photos and explored where they’re getting married in October. I’m looking forward to being there!
