While I love the challenge and surprises of documentary photography, portraits have their own obstacles and rewards. I work to use light and camera technique so well that the essence of the portrait — an emotional connection with the subject — shines through.
Below are my portrait session rates for personal use; please inquire about rates for editorial or commercial use:
• $250 to do portraits, up to one hour photography. Includes everything saved on flash drive as high-resolution JPGs in color and B/W (to print yourselves), and an edited selection in the password-protected ‘Galleries’ section of my website, where family and friends can order prints a la carte.
• $400 to do portraits and documentary work, up to two hours of photography. The idea is to do formal pictures and hang out to capture moments. Includes all of the above.
