Over the weekend, Joe invited me to his Lyme, N.H., home to do family portraits before the extended family had a dinner to celebrate their mother’s 70th birthday. It was a beautiful evening for a wonderful meal!

I recently returned to Cara and Dean’s wonderful home in Barnard, Vt., to photograph their growing family. Since photographing their wedding in 2008, it has been great to continue to be a part of their changing lives!

This week Ruth and Lloyd invited me to their home in Canaan, N.H., to photograph themselves and their extended family during their get-together — even though it was raining outside, we made fun photos!

I recently photographed Judy, Eric and their extended family in one of the places most important to them — Franconia in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Years ago, they drove up from New Jersey to camp in the area with their three children. Today, with their four grandchildren they visit the same area, including a new home nearby Eric and Judy plan to retire to.

The other day, Susan and Jim asked me to come by their home in Quechee, Vt., to photograph themselves with their four children, spouses and seven grandchildren. They all traveled great distance to be together — the coordinated effort paid off with fun photos!

The other day, I photographed Laura, Aaron and their sweet daughter Anna at their home in Jericho, Vt. — the portrait session was a gift from their relatives. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed my time with them!

Last weekend, Taryn and Rob asked me to photograph themselves with their one-year-old daughter Sophia at their home in Hanover, N.H. It was the first time one of them wasn’t photographing the other. I was happy to be there!

Earlier this week I got together with Andrew and George to do their engagement portrait while they visited Vermont for New Year’s Eve. They’re getting married in western Massachusetts in October, with a reception in Keene, N.H. I’m happy to photograph them during their favorite seasons!

The other day, Christina and Brendan asked me back to photograph their son Finn and themselves; I had been their wedding photographer in 2008. It’s great to continue to be in touch and to see their family grow!

On a brisk December morning, I met Eliza and Paul to do their engagement portrait in Woodstock, Vt. They’re getting married in Quechee, Vt., next August, down the road from where Eliza grew up in Barnard. I’m looking forward to being there!
