The Graduate

This morning, I went up the road to do senior portraits of Allison on her family’s property. Allie used to sing in the church choir with my daughter, who was surprised to hear Allie’s nearing graduation from high school!

New Addition

Four years ago, I photographed Christina and Brendan’s wedding in Hartland, Vt. (My photo of them ringing the church bell afterwards is one of my favorites — click here to check it out!) Christina asked me to photograph their five-month-old son the other day — I’m happy to continue photographing life’s big and small moments.

Family Fun

Four years ago, I photographed Cara and Dean’s fun wedding in Barnard, Vt. The fun continues when they asked me back again to spend time with their growing family. I did portraits and documented their children Baiah and William as they played and danced (and pouted a bit, too).

Charlotte & Greg

To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Charlotte and Greg asked me to come by their Bethel, Vt., home on a beautiful Sunday morning to do their portrait. When they were married, the couple had a small ceremony without a professional photographer. I was happy to oblige a year later.

Family Time

It seems like yesterday, but in 1996 I photographed Cindy & Bruce’s wedding at the family inn in Etna, N.H. Since then, I’ve been back to do photos of their family a few times. Their kids’ energy and sense of humor is definitely a family trait!

Shannon & Willy

Yesterday afternoon I met with Shannon and Willy to take their engagement photos — we made use of the Top of the Hop’s beautiful location at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., after a downpour dampened our outside plans. I used to work with Willy’s mother at the Valley News; when he was a young kid, we even used Willy and his sister as models for a story about homemade Halloween costumes. I’ll have to find those negatives before their Sept. 2013 wedding!

Emily & Aaron

A few days ago, I did an engagement session for Emily and Aaron, whose September wedding I am photographing at the Aloha Hive Camp on Vermont’s Lake Fairlee. Talented photographer Jason Johns will be helping me out at the wedding. It was a beautiful afternoon to take photos — we even went for a short trail drive in their restored Jeep!
